The inspiration for this Kids Bookstore came from the book The Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister. The space was outlined for us, but we had free reign to do what we wanted with it. I immediately knew I wanted to include a fish tank as a focal point of the store, and thought the center was a perfect spot for it to draw people in. This also makes the space fun for the kids and hopefully encourages them to pick out a new book to read.
